From the Editors desk,
Respected Seniors and dear Colleagues,
With utmost humility and also with a sense of pride, I assume the post of Honorary Secretary, Delhi state Chapter f ASI, as I take over the mantle from the past Executive.
I promise to try my best and fulfill my responsibilities assigned to me by the ASI HQ. The betterment of the Chapter will be uppermost in my mind in this tenure of 2 years. I assure you that I will always be open to suggestionsfrom all the members. And I assure you that all the decisions from the Chapter will be with the consensus of the majority after all necessary deliberations and in the best interest of the chapter.
In these upcoming 2 years, with the guidance of our President , Dr P S Sarangi, the GC members and the executive, we have planned a long list of programmes, both academic and social. We will continue with the current academic curriculum, and also plan to introduce new ones. Our aim will be to increase membership of the Chapter, increase the State fund coffer, and support all academic programmes by both government and Private hospitals. All efforts will be for the benefit of the Residents, whose interests will be uppermost in my mind.
My focus will also be on increasing the membership of the hugely successful and benevolent Social Security Scheme of the ASI and increasing the popularity of the Indemnity coverage scheme. We will also continue to strive to the get the Best State Chapter awards like in the previous 6 years and carry on the Legacy of our superiors.
It will only be possiblewith help and support of each one of the members of the Delhi State Chapter of ASI
Peace and Light
Jai Hind
Dr. Ashish Dey
