Respected Members of Delhi State Chapter, ASI

As we usher in 2025, I extend my warm greetings to every member of our august organization. As I take over the duties of President, it is a moment of both pride and humility for me. Pride in the trust and responsibility placed in me by my peers and humility in realizing that I am now following in a long line of stalwarts, who have brought this chapter to the glory and status that it now enjoys.
Our chapter has been awarded the Best Chapter award for several years consecutively. We have achieved several milestones, in the clinical, academic, and social outreach fields. My approach this year is to try and preserve what we have already achieved and add an additional thrust to the concept of surgical education. I believe it is our utmost responsibility to prepare the next generation of surgeons who will carry on the baton. Our chapter already has several teaching activities including monthly meetings, Scope classes, and several CMEs. I would try and increase the participation of postgraduate students in all these activities and increase their outreach, maybe digitally.
I solicited the support and suggestions of all members of the chapter and the guidance and blessings of all my seniors. I hope that we will keep our banner flying high, as always.
